Vino di Vino

Newton, MA Retail Outlet - Custom Commercial Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: The customer’s space was relatively small at 1000 square feet, and the goal was to display as many full cases of wine as possible in an attractive manner. They were also looking for storage and retail display racks for individual bottles. Vigilant Design Solution: The Vigilant design team collaborated with the customer’s architect to come up with this unique cubby design. The cubbies each hold 11 bottles with the 12th on display on an adjacent shelf. They were stacked six high in order to maximize bottle capacity for the small space. Rolling island displays were incorporated to add additional capacity and provide flexibility. Westfield, NJ Retail Outlet - Custom Commercial Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: Vigilant was asked to design a fully custom storage solution with custom wine racks and a custom wipe-on finish for a very high-end look. Vigilant Design Solution: Vigilant worked hand-in-hand with the architect and store owner to come up with the best combination of display cabinetry and wine storage shelves and racks that would match the ambiance of the space. Our designers worked long and hard on designing the shelving and cubbie storage displayed in the photos here and we are happy to say that the owner was very pleased with the results you see. Salem Wine

Salem, MA Retail Outlet - Custom Commercial Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: The merchant of Salem Wine had a look in mind that he was trying to achieve with his store. The need to extend the rustic look of the post and beam construction and fine brick interior was foremost in the client's mind. Vigilant Design Solution: Vigilant determined that the traditional look of our classic wine rack kits, finished in chestnut and Satin, would help maintain the desired look and aesthetics of the interior space. The capacity was achieved with a combination of individual bottle storage and bin and case storage. The proper number of facings was achieved with single bottle wine baskets. Dover Wine

Dover, NH Retail Outlet - Kit and Display Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: Our friends down at Dover wine wanted to open a new wine and cheese store. They needed to maximize storage while still adhering to a strict budget and tight space requirements. The design needed to use the wall space and floor space together to achieve the goals of the store. Vigilant Design Solution: First we began the project by lining the walls with our five and 10-column display racks. This helped to use the wall space available effectively while still allowing the upper walls to be outfitted with decorative items and accessories for sale. We then designed in our display kit islands, which allowed them to maximize the amount of storage and facings for the high-end bottles. Total Capacity: 2,200 bottles

Traverse City, MI Retail Outlet - Custom Wine Cube Wall Display Project Goal: The winery wanted to utilize the contemporary appeal of the wine cubes in their store. The ability to create a wall to display and sell from inside the winery had presented a challenge as the space to achieve this presentation was small. Vigilant Design Solution: Vigilant determined that the flexibility of the wine cubes coupled with their modern look would allow the small amount of space to be used effectively to display and store their vintage wines. Vigilant coordinated efforts on the needs and let their designers fit the cubes to the space. Total Capacity: 350 bottles

South Loop Wine Cellar

Chicago, IL Specialty Retail Store - Custom Wine Cube & Kit Racking Solution Project Goal: Vigilant was contracted to design a kit and custom solution that fit with the ambiance and environment the retail store was trying to create in downtown Chicago. It needed to be rustic in nature, and inviting to the community of customers. Vigilant Design Solution: Vigilant designed a kit-custom solution that included custom wine cubes for along wall storage and kit wine racks for floor island displays. Betsy's Tasting Room

Wisconsin Rapids, WI Tasting Room - Traditional Kit Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: Vigilant was asked by this client to come up with a series of wine racks that would help accent the built out space and the overall goal of the business to offer tasting's as well as wine to purchase. Vigilant Design Solution: Vigilant came up with a series of traditional kit wine racks that worked to fully display the wine in the chosen space as well as make it easier for the patrons to buy the wines tasted. The need for storage with a very high-end appeal was achieved with bins and individuals with face trim and a Satin over chestnut stain. Total Capacity: 850 bottles View The Commercial-Tasting Room

The Vineyard

Orlando, FL Retail Outlet - Custom Commercial Wine Storage Solution Project Goal: The customer is a high-end wine retailer in Orlando, Florida. They were adding a wine room to their space for the display of their premium wines. They were looking for a design solution that provided a wine cellar-like feel, and that also efficiently displayed their extensive number of offerings. Vigilant Design Solution: There area devoted to the wine room was spacious and the Vigilant designers did not want to simply fill it up with wine racking. A dark stain was chosen to give the room a rich feel and high reveal displays were used throughout to present multiple wine labels.  Rectangular bins and case storage elements were worked into the design and space was created for the customer’s art work. Wines from the Heart

Pacific Grove, CA Retail Wine Display Racks - Kit/Custom Commercial Solution Project Goal: The customer was looking to take one corner of her retail wine store and upgrade the decor and retail wine display racks for her premium wines. She was looking for a “winery feel” with maximum capacity in the 425 square foot area. Vigilant Design Solution: The earth tones in the tile and the faux painted fresco walls were major design elements to consider when it came time to design the retail wine displays.  Full-height wine islands were not a possibility because they closed the space in and blocked the view from other areas of the store. Wine islands were used with tables on the ends and a Shaker Maple finish was a perfect match with the tile and paint.
