The construction of a slatted arch and a beadboard arch is closely similar. The only difference between the two is in the look of the finished trim. Both are made from the finest quality mahogany wood and both add a tremendous amount of aesthetic value to any wine cellar. The slatted allows for about a ½” opening on either side of the slats, while the beadboard is one continuous band of wood. The choice really comes down to your preference. So do you like the slatted or beadboard look?
